ICED TEA: The Coolest Bestseller

For decades, the biggest selling category of tea in the U.S. has been iced tea. Year round. In every region. In fact, more than 159 million Americans consume 85 billion servings of tea a day (3.9 billion gallons) and 85% of that is iced, according to the Tea Association of the U.S.A., Inc.
That’s why there’s no need to narrow iced tea sales down to summertime although an entire month, June, is dedicated as the “official” National Iced Tea Month and June 10th is the official National Iced Tea Day.
At AdagioXL we have everything you need to ring up sales this June and ALL YEAR LONG from iced tea. Best of all, all our iced tea selections are full-flavored, finely curated leaves, not stale powders. Our iced tea selections are also sourced directly from the actual tea growers (white, green, oolong, and black) which means fresher, less expensive teas that please your bottom line as they please the palate of your customers.
We’ve created a plethora of fabulous blends to please the most discerning iced tea lovers. The only struggle you, or they, will have is to decide from the more than 35 flavors we offer among the quart and gallon pouches and 3-gallon loose-leaf packets.
Whether you are preparing the teas for serving or selling them for customers to prepare at home, quantity is never a challenge. Each pouch contains pre-measured tea suitable for one of three quantities: 1 quart, 1 gallon, and 3 gallons. These are so easy to use whether it’s a single user, caterers, or a family hosting a Sunday BBQ or huge family reunion.
At-home customers will embrace the pre-measured, one-quart pouches (no guessing!) that makes a quick-to-do four delicious glasses. The one-gallon pouches are perfect for larger crowds and make a generous 16 glasses.
The Ceylon Sonata Black Tea Gallon Iced Pouches should be in everyone’s pantry, not just food service vendors. This iced tea pouch contains a signature Ceylon tea that’s bright, lively, and well-balanced. Sourced from the spectacular Kenilworth estate in Sri Lanka’s prestigious Kandy region, it’s delicious plain or combined 50-50 with lemonade for an Arnold Palmer or flavored with your favorite fruits for a tea sangria. Versatility and vibrant taste, what more could anyone want?
Brewing is fuss-free: steep one pouch in a 1/2 gallon of hot water for five minutes, or longer to taste, and dilute to desired strength.
Variation: Add a 3-gallon loose-leaf packet to your iced tea machine for a flavorful, bountiful offering to customers all day long.
June will be here in a minute, so stock up soon for Iced Tea Month (and all year long.) Select from rooibos and other herbals, flavored and plain greens, oolongs, and black teas.

Tips to Share to Stretch Flavor and Fun
Pitcher still has unused tea? Don’t toss it! Pour from the pitcher into ice trays and freeze. Use these instead of water cubes. They chill the tea yet do not dilute it like water-only iced cubes can!
Make Ice Cubes Pretty. Add sliced kiwi, strawberries or your other favorite fruits to water or tea in the ice cube trays. They’re delicious additions to a tumbler of tea and a great conversation opener!
Juice ‘em Up! Forget water or tea. Add your favorite juice to the iced cube trays: citrus (grapefruit, mandarin oranges, lime or lemon;) cranberry, apple, lemonade or your personal favorite. Iced tea never tasted so good!
Sangria the Tea. Instead of the traditional Spanish fruited wine drink, use tea such as our Fruit Medley as the base. Cut up fresh fruit and add into the tea. Chill in the fridge or add ice and, ole! Can Barcelona be far away?
