How-To Cold Brew with Gallon Iced Pouches
Summer is here and so is iced tea season! We cannot stress enough that this is a great time of year to boost tea sales and attract new customers with delicious cold refreshments. Most of the tea consumed in the US is ICED TEA!
We would like to share a handy “cold-brew how-to” for using our popular gallon-sized iced tea pouches. Cold brewing is the easiest way to make iced tea and makes the smoothest tea!
For regular strength:
-Add 1-gallon iced tea pouch to a gallon (128 ounces or 4 quarts) of cold water
-Refrigerate and let steep for at least 8 hours
-Remove pouch and serve
To make a 2:1 concentrate:
-Add 2 x 1-gallon pouches for every 1 gallon of water
-Refrigerate and steep for at least 8 hours
-Remove pouches
-Pour ½ glass or cup of cold water and ice
-Fill to top with cold brew concentrate
Remember to add beautiful and flavorful garnishes that enhance customer enjoyment. Consider fresh herbs like mint or sage, flowers such as lavender or rose petals, spices such as ginger and cardamom, and of course, farm fresh seasonal fruit. Order our gallon-sized iced tea pouches now!
